Upa After presenting in trouble, the production of cartoons in Argentina continued with the work of Juan Oliva, Burone Bruch, Dr. Jorge Alperin, Cristiani and Dante Pettenon in '40 and Jorge Caro, Victor Iturralde, Irene and Karel Dodal, Rodolfo Héctor Bardi and Franzi in the '50s. However, these drawings were not related with the comic strips. One of the few exceptions, perhaps the only, was the short "I am happy , of Manuel García Ferré , with the participation of Pi-Pio, a character whose adventures artist began publishing in Billiken in 1952. Perhaps then, this film belongs to that decade. In the '60s, García Ferré's own take to the screen and little glasses Mask (1963, commercials, even before the launch of the magazine little glasses) and-especially-a The Adventures of Hijitus (who had arisen in Pi-Pio) through one-minute episodes daily on channel 13.
Raul says Manrupe in his Brief History cartoon in Argentina :

the idea here is not to analyze the creativity of the series or the richness of the characters. Manrupe the same book which have been excerpted above, is really very valuable to learn many more details, plus the history of Argentine cartoon in general.
