Good Curling Irons Jcpenney

From paper to motion (II)

Upa After presenting in trouble, the production of cartoons in Argentina continued with the work of Juan Oliva, Burone Bruch, Dr. Jorge Alperin, Cristiani and Dante Pettenon in '40 and Jorge Caro, Victor Iturralde, Irene and Karel Dodal, Rodolfo Héctor Bardi and Franzi in the '50s. However, these drawings were not related with the comic strips. One of the few exceptions, perhaps the only, was the short "I am happy , of Manuel García Ferré , with the participation of Pi-Pio, a character whose adventures artist began publishing in Billiken in 1952. Perhaps then, this film belongs to that decade. You can see in YouTube (uploaded by TheGustavoRetrofans) and Online Archive of Pi-Pio ( site very well put together by collectors Carlos Carella, Michael Dao, "Paco" Pun " "Omarcitus" and Thurdi).

In the '60s, García Ferré's own take to the screen and little glasses Mask (1963, commercials, even before the launch of the magazine little glasses) and-especially-a The Adventures of Hijitus (who had arisen in Pi-Pio) through one-minute episodes daily on channel 13.
Raul says Manrupe in his Brief History cartoon in Argentina :
" A list could include in the local area, kittens Wool San Andrés (the Martin Fierro first to Garcia Ferré in 1960), the gang Mantecol, the little girl of Touson shoes, Frávega Bear, the Tyrolean accordion wax Switzerland, the German beer Bieckert ... To be able to understand well the enormous popularity of these characters, many of them were made dolls, not to give away as promotional material for sale but massive toy (...). The kids asked and their parents bought them, competing with Disney characters. This produced little glasses and mask. The ingenuity knows no bounds, was implemented as an advertising spend a micro television cartoon of two minutes, including the reference to four or five advertisers. García Ferré, independent of Lowe in 1959 and successful creator of animated commercials, had presented his proposal to channel 13 but it was rejected, apparently with skepticism, which sought fortune on Channel 9 that immediately accepted (...) . In 1964 she went out little glasses magazine (...). The bestseller somehow marked the end of the commercial stage mics little glasses and masks, who survived a couple of years, adding new characters like The Family Panconara, and Panconita Panconita (...). It's funny, but even in its moment of greatest success, little glasses and mask did not have a strip plot itself. That privilege Hijitus meted out to him. "

continues Manrupe:

" In 1967, with little glasses which has become an icon of children, successful magazine, TV and merchandising, and a source of income security for production, García Ferré faced its most ambitious project, which in turn end up, for some, the best artistic and commercial results. Hijitus, a secondary character witty comic The Adventures of Pi-Pio is modernized and drawn according to the child like the time (...). The first thing that stands out is that we are not timid in front of a brave (...): Hijitus becomes a street child, a hobo who lives in a pipe (...). The Adventures of Hijitus begin airing on Channel 13 buses per day (...), with a hook at the end to make the audience the next day (...). Was filmed in color - remember missing more than ten years of black and white TV - thinking about their subsequent exploitation (...).

the idea here is not to analyze the creativity of the series or the richness of the characters. To do this, it would be good to visit the various sites dedicated to Ferré, of which some may find them in the right column, more precisely in paragraph Tribute and Dissemination. Manrupe the same book which have been excerpted above, is really very valuable to learn many more details, plus the history of Argentine cartoon in general. And to know Ferré reflections on his own animated film, I recommend reading the entry for May 24, 2010, where he got the report that Gatti Federico Andrés Accorsi and held him in the magazine Comique.
