way things are sometimes the saddest news surprise us and beat us. The death of Carlos Trillo is a great loss for the world of comics to that of their loved ones and colleagues. What I can add to all that is known and everything is running right now? Probably very little. His work as a writer is immense, one variety and unparalleled imagination. And while comics are remembered above all as El Loco Chavez, Las Puertitas Mr. Lopez and Clara de Noche, their production is vast and has the great merit that the amount was always hand in hand with the highest quality, surely a virtue of very, very few. It also addressed the humor, but from my place I remember a couple of books that greatly increased my enthusiasm for political cartoons and comic strips in general: the one made with Albert Broccoli (political cartoons) and the one built with Guillermo Saccomanno ( Cartoon History of Argentina).
suggest reading the articles published on sites like Top Comics, Comic Squares-journalism, Pagina 12, the magazine Fierro, 365 comics per year, Nando cartoon and probably several more that will be added in these days.
also highly recommend the article that Manuel Barrero - of Tebeosfera (Spain) - I made the artist in 2002, a very extensive (it is divided into five parts) and other valuable document on the story of Argentina.
